how i use AI to get warm introductions

the exact system i’m using to book meetings in SF before august 6th.

hey friends,

i’m back in san francisco until august 6th.

i thought i was living in a bubble because of my daily work.

then i got back to SF.

ads & billboards are all tech. cafe conversations about startups & AI

it reminded me how many interesting people live here. you just have to talk to strangers. who knows what conversations can turn into.

proximity creates luck.

but i wanted to make that luck more intentional. how can i turn meetings into growth for Cyndra?

here’s how i made my AI agent handle that →

back to the 1st “office” i grew up with

most networking is random

most people open LinkedIn, search for impressive titles & start sending messages.

or they ask a friend:

“do you know anyone i should meet?”

that puts all the work on the person helping you.

they have to search their memory, decide who’s relevant & figure out how to position the introduction.

so i tried something different.

i gave my AI one goal

i connected my AI agent to LinkedIn Sales Navigator and told it:

find the people in SF who are genuinely worth meeting before i leave.

it started with people i was connected with on LinkedIn

it searched their connections for founders, operators, investors & real-estate decision-makers in the Bay Area.

finding names is step 1

finding out who’s truly worth meeting is where it gets interesting →

an impressive title means nothing

one search gave me 47 people who looked relevant.

my agent researched every one of them.

it checked:

• their current role

• whether they were actually in the Bay Area

• their real decision-making authority

• the size and quality of their network

• whether they could buy, introduce or neither

• the specific reason a conversation would be valuable

then i sent one trusted connection a short list of the people who were genuinely worth meeting.

just a few researched names and an easy question:

do you know any of these well enough that an intro to Cyndra would make sense?

use AI to strengthen relationships

AI shouldn’t replace relationships.

it should help you understand where the strongest relationships already exist.

if you want to try this yourself, start with one clear target.

not “interesting people.”

something specific:

real-estate developers, owners & operators in the Bay Area who control operational workflows.

search through the networks of people who already trust you.

then research every name before asking for anything.

figure out who they are, what they control, why the meeting matters & whether your mutual connection actually knows them.

finally, make the introduction easy.

give your connector a few researched names, explain why each person is relevant & offer a short note they can forward.

most people don’t need a bigger network.

they need a better way to understand the network they already have.
