How to do more (doing less) - johann

without clarity, you're nothing

“I’m busy” is bullshit.

Being behind a laptop doesn’t mean you’re working.

I used to get tons of ideas and just start working on them.

But working like this kills momentum. You do everything, but get no results.

This is why clarity matters.

You need to have a north star.

Before you start working, answer these:
→ What’s the point of what I’m about to do?
→ What’s the outcome I want and why?
→ Find out “needle-moving” tasks (Tasks that get you closer to the goal)

If something isn’t a “needle-moving” task, delegate or ignore it.

My Clarity Framework

  1. Start each day with ONE goal.
Example: “Book 3 sales calls for devden.”

  2. Use a “Do / Delay / Ditch” board.
Write and label your tasks. “Do” = needle-moving tasks

  3. Build only after messaging is clear.
If you can’t describe your product/goal in 10 words, focus on that first

Always get clarity first.

It’ll save you hours. And help you ship something that matters.

  2. Outbrand

    1. Outbrand integrates directly with socials. Setup once, then grow your socials on autopilot 🙂

    2. We had high churn, so our current subscribers got 50% off. We’re using their feedback to improve retention.

Here’s the SF office for the next 2 weeks - then off to Ft. Lauderdale 🙂
